Woolite Fabric and Carpet Cleaners were part of the Playtex Family of Consumer Products. The brand of home cleaning products was purchased from Reckitt & Colman Inc. (R&C) in 1995. Woolite Carpet Cleaners shared their brand name with other
R&C products associated with Laundry Care (Woolite Gentle Cycle Fabric Wash). Prior to R&C, in the 1980s, Boyle Midway Company manufactured Woolite.
