What is the difference between One Step™ and Heavy Traffic®^® Carpet Cleaner?

One Step was designed for fast overall cleaning and refreshing. It only requires spraying and vacuuming. Heavy Traffic is for heavy duty carpet cleaning in problem areas. It requires the use of a damp mop or sponge before vacuuming. Heavy Traffic was designed to penetrate deep into problem areas and the One Step was designed for surface cleaning. The two contain different surfactants (detergents) which also makes their formulation different.

Can One Step be used as a spot & stain remover?

This product is designed for overall carpet cleaning. We recommend you try Oxy Deep^® Pet for spot and stain removal.

Can One Step be used on upholstery?

This product is designed for carpet use only. We recommend you try Fabric & Upholstery.

Can One Step be used on a stain that was not removed by another rug cleaner?

Yes. Be sure the area has been thoroughly rinsed and vacuumed to remove all of the other cleaner. Then use One Step according to the label directions.

What type of carpet fibers is One Step most successful on?

One Step is most successful on synthetic fibers such as nylon, acrylic and propylene.

How do I remove the fragrance left by this product?

The majority of the fragrance dissipates within 48 hours. Use of a deep cleaning machine will remove any lingering fragrance or soap.
