What happens if Oxy Deep Steam is spilled directly on the carpet?
There are no harsh chemicals in Oxy Deep Steam that would harm the carpet. The amount of peroxide in the product is a very low concentration. If a deep cleaning machine is available, clean the area with water until all of the Oxy Deep Steam formula is removed from the carpet. If no deep cleaning machine is available, blot carpet until formula is removed.

When is it safe to put the furniture back on the carpet after deep cleaning?
The carpet should be thoroughly dry. This can take overnight or longer depending on the amount of humidity in the area. Carpet will dry faster if a fan is placed in the room.

How long should children and pets be kept off the carpet?
The carpet should be thoroughly dry before children and pets are allowed on the carpet. This can take overnight or longer depending on the amount of humidity in the area. Carpet will dry faster if a fan is placed in the room.

The temperature of the hot tap water used in most carpet steam machines’ is less than 120 F degrees. Adding Oxy Deep Steam to this temperature will enhance the deep cleaning process.
